Presenting a refreshed appearance through branding


Ground & Water is the leading provider of contaminated land and geotechnical services. They consistently deliver on time and on budget, working with their customers to get their projects approved.


The ads creative solutions team was working on a project to build Ground & Water a new website. To complement their new online presence, they required a refreshed look. The brief was to update their existing logo and build a set of brand guidelines. With Ground & Water approaching its tenth anniversary, they wanted a new logo that would reflect the growth of the company and help convey its authority.

They required something simple that kept their existing colours, brought a fresh look, and was recognizable at a glance.


With the brief understood, the ads creative solutions team started drafting ideas and experimenting with designs. Recognising that design can be subjective, we provided several example designs to choose from. We presented Ground & Water with various designs to review, each playing on different aspects of the brief.

Once the final logo was decided, we then created a logo suite, with different variations of the logo, as well as new brand guidelines.


The final result provided Ground & Water with not only a new website but also a brand-new logo with various pieces of literature to accompany it, including fact sheets, leaflets, business cards, letterhead, email signatures, and vehicle signage.
