INTRODUCTION

Drain Technology is one of our longest-standing clients here at ads creative solutions. They specialise in drainage, tanker, environmental and rail contracts, with experience that spans over three decades.

BRIEF

Drain Technology recently expanded its portfolio to offer Traffic Management Services and required a new page on its recently updated website to showcase its latest service.

WHAT WE DID

Content research was paramount for this task, as understandably, none of the ads creative solutions team have had experience in Traffic Management before.

Research started by taking a look at the Search Engine Result Page (SERPs), to see who the competitors were and the type of content they published in order to rank highly. With a sound knowledge of the keywords that people used, we took to Semrush in order to get some data on the search terms.

Having identified what will have the highest chance of ranking, we began the process of forming the content, as well as constructing the new page on Drain Technology’s website.

When writing, we wanted to ensure all the best practises of SEO were followed, which meant using the main keyword in the H1 title tag, optimising the SEO title and meta description, as well as identifying high-quality outbound links such as trade bodies and government standards.

OUTCOME

The result of our research and content writing led us to have a fully optimised page, that fit Drain Technology’s tone of voice and showcased their new Traffic Management service.

Alongside the green ratings for readability and SEO score in the Yoast tool, Drain Technology’s Traffic Management Service page ranks second for organic results in a local search.
