INTRODUCTION

Weston Manor is a boutique hotel in the heart of Oxfordshire, providing a luxury experience to its guests. The Manor is a Grade II listed building dating back to the late 15th century and is proud to be listed on the English Heritage Register. Its rich history and luxury offerings were paramount when it came to marketing the brand.

BRIEF

Weston Manor recognised a gap in its marketing strategy and sought to build a presence on social media. The goal was to raise awareness of the full offering, including stays, the restaurant, and events, to those in the Oxfordshire area and beyond.

WHAT WE DID

Before beginning work on creating Weston Manor’s social media presence, a visit to the hotel was made to meet the management and learn as much as possible about their vision and the hotel.

The first step was to tidy up the existing profiles to ensure the branding was correct and consistent across all channels. This also involved identifying the best platforms to focus efforts on.

Once the accounts were fully optimised, a content calendar for the year’s events was created, focusing on important days of the year such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Easter.

With the year’s content mapped out, monthly content plans were then created, writing out the copy and sticking closely to Weston Manor’s tone of voice and branding. Visual graphics were also produced to accompany the copy, making the posts as eye-catching as possible in social media feeds.

OUTCOME

Within the first six months of working with Weston Manor, their social media feeds were transformed to showcase their luxury hotel offering. The results speak for themselves, with a 155% rise in impressions and a 105% rise in engagements on Instagram from January to June ’24.
