Picturesque Autumn Spots in Oxfordshire
Article | 10th November 2022
Is there a more picturesque time of year than autumn? As the colours change and leaves fall, it's no surprise why people love this season with a passion.
As the clocks change, the feeling of autumn has well and truly set in. We set the ads creative solutions team a small challenge across their weekend to find the most picturesque spot in Oxfordshire.

Blenheim Palace
No matter what time you visit Blenheim Palace, you’re always in for a treat. But there is arguably no better time than when the colours on the trees turn all shades of orange, yellow and red. You don’t even have to visit the Palace itself to make the most of the views – take a walk around the Blenheim loop and finish the loop in one of Woodstock’s many cafes..
Combe
We’re very lucky to have some of Oxfordshire’s nicest countryside right on our doorstep – something which Andrew takes advantage of every lunch. A short loop walk around the fields of Combe and Long Hanborough is the perfect way to break the day up and see some stunning sights as you go.
Stanton Harcourt
If you’re looking for a village walk that’s only a short distance from Witney, Stanton Harcourt is the perfect spot. With quintessential English village views mixed in with rich history, a Sunday afternoon walk will certainly not disappoint.
Farringdon Woods & Broadway Tower
What better way to spend a crisp autumnal weekend than lacing up the boots and heading out for a long walk (followed by a pitstop at a country pub).
The views from Farringdon Woods and Broadway Tower spoil you with some stunning views as far as the eye can see.
Albert Park
Whilst it might not be the rolling countryside hills or the grand settings of Blenheim Palace, Albert Park is a little pocket of nature amongst a busy town.
The park is the perfect spot for a quick walk if you’re after some fresh air and with it being right around the corner from Reece’s house, he gets to enjoy watching all the seasons come and go.
