our brief

We were tasked to set out and deliver a marketing plan for a brand new business which was to form part of an already, well established joinery business. The product was niche and needed to have a luxury yet practical feel to it, although a start-up, we needed to convey the heritage and skill within the sister company.

what we did

The principle of the business was very simple, our challenge was to promote and sell fire doors. Not just any fire door though, bespoke, hand made doors. Each tested and compliant in accordance with BS EN standards. We worked with the client to determine the name of the business, obtain the relevant domain names, create the logo and brand guidelines, build an e-commerce website, set up and manage social media and promote the products through Google pay per click (PPC).

Key to the project’s success was the understanding we had of the market we needed to attract, the audience is specific and technical insight was essential, the use of personalised photography and videography was key to setting the company apart from competitors and to showcase the detail and quality of the product. At the same time, we needed to keep the customer journey concise and generate quality leads through PPC. Throughout the entire process, the client was open to our recommendations and best practice approach and allowed free rein.
